Description: Broca's Aphasia arises from damage to the brain's language centers, specifically the left posterior frontal lobe, often known as Broca's area. This disorder leads to notable difficulties in producing fluent and coherent speech. Individuals with Broca's Aphasia exhibit reduced speech output, characterized by a limited vocabulary, slow and effortful articulation, and simplified sentence structures. Despite these challenges in verbal expression, comprehension of language remains relatively intact.
Sensitivity Maps: Individual lesion network maps were thresholded and binarized at t > 7 and t < -7. The binarized maps are then overlapped to generate the sensitivity map. The heat map shows regions between 50% overlap (n=0) to 100% overlap (n=1).
